science supplies to Nepal back

In April 2004 I and fellow student, Karen Vasko, had the pleasure of delivering not just letters, but microscopes and other biology, chemistry, and physics supplies to Shree Mahendra Dev Secondary School and Shree Chandra Daya Higher Secondary School in Lamjung Region, Nepal. They were very happily received. THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED MAKE THIS POSSIBLE! The cost of the supplies bought in Nepal were less than anticipated, so we have been able to help pay for cabinets and furniture too. Shree Chandra Daya School has begun working towards having a dedicated science room and we have been discussing that possibility with Shree Mahendra Dev School too. Eventually both schools would love to have computers and a trained computer instructor.

In addition to letters, the Nepali and American students have been exchanging photographs and descriptions of their everyday life.
